Are you mushroom lover?? THEN TRY THIS AMAZING MUTTAR MUSHROOM RECIPE!!!
Hello guys This is LV from LV Cooking today I will show you my fantastic recipe which will make you fall in love with mushrooms.
How to cook mushroom and the mistake people makes
1. before cooking do not wash or put them in water but the truth is mushroom has a lot of water in them already and also mushroom act as sponges the more water you but more water they take.
if they are dirty just brush them or clean them with damp paper instead of washing them.
2. another water-related mistake people make is that they cook it slowly on low heat. this cause the extra moisture inside the mushroom to leak out so the fungi get steamed more than anything. That will only give you soggy mushrooms when ideally all the water should be evaporated before they come out of the stovetop. You can say water is the biggest enemy when you cook mushrooms and water-related mistakes are the biggest mistakes most people face while cooking them.
3. Another problem people face is while slicing them mushrooms have a great texture and small mushrooms should be added whole and when people cut them in small pieces they do not want their food to be less so they just undercook them.
4. Another common mistake is overcrowding pan and using not enough oil it is similar to having too much water in a pan when mushrooms are overcrowded there is not enough to evaporate. This is also another way the mushrooms can sit and simmer for a soggy finish just it is easy to have enough water in a pan it is easy to have not enough oil in a pan. Remember mushrooms are like sponges, so they will soak up all the oil in a pan if there is only a little. That's why it is important to use enough should you add the appropriate amount of oil in a pan and avoid crowding mushrooms, you are not exactly away from the danger of poorly cooking your mushrooms.
5. Another common mistake is that they do let the mushroom stay on the pan for long enough. It is actually quite easy to undercook the mushrooms the reason you want to make sure you cook the mushroom long enough is that they will be when the excess liquid is cooked out. Since mushrooms do contain so much liquid you should leave them on the heat long enough to get rid of unwanted liquid and let them caramelize, making them delicious. Just keep an eye on them so they do not get overcooked either.
6. another is that while cooking them you don't want to add the salt in it as soon as they are in the pan. This cause the water to be drawn out of the mushroom which causes fungi to become tough. Plus the mushroom will have less flavour. You want to add salt when get caramelized and the liquid has cooked out. This will ensure that they have great colour, flavour, and texture.
HOW TO MAKE IT !!!
- In a pan add 2 spoons of oil
- Add mushrooms add saute until they get 3/4 of their original size. Here I have used the White button but you may use any mushrooms you like.
- For more flavor add butter.
- NOTE - Do not add wash mushrooms because they already contain water if they are dirty just clean them with a damp cloth.
- Use enough oil and butter because mushrooms will absorb them.
- Keep the flame high don't worry about butter or mushrooms burning because we want to remove the moisture from the mushrooms.
- Once they get 3/4 size of the original then take them out
- Again In a pan add 4 spoons of oil.
- Add a few chopped green onions and saute for a few minutes.
- Add muttar (pea) add 1/2 spoon of turmeric powder and 1 spoon of salt.
- Cook Pea until they get soft.
- Add onion and green chilli pury.
- Add 1 spoon of cumin powder and 1 spoon of red chilli powder.
- Add 1 1/2 spoon of malai and cook for a minute or so
- Add cooked mushroom and tomato pury and cook for a few minutes
