Cardio Vs Strength training: what you need to know

 Hello, guys, this is LV from LV Cooking today I will give you the answer to one of the most common questions which come to the mind of everyone who starts to exercise.





My answer is very simple it's important to do both.

Cardio:

  • Burns calories.
  • Makes you more physically fit.
  • It improves the function of your lungs and heart.

Strength training.

  • Makes your muscles stronger.
  • Boosts your metabolism.
  • It burned calories while you're exercising.
  • It helps you burn more calories when you aren't exercising.


Aim to complete a strength training routine at least twice a week.

Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate cardio each week... 
    
                                                                        OR

At least 75 minutes of vigorous cardio each week

Maintain a healthy weight to lower your cancer risk.
